GCS is excited to introduce the Environmental Protection Agency’s Tools for Schools program. The Environmental Protection Agency’s Tools for Schools program assists school districts in identifying the actions they can take to successfully plan and implement an effective IAQ management Program.

GCS has finalized an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) management plan. Additionally, the district will be implementing the Tools for Schools program at all GCS facilities in various phases. Right now as part of Phase 1, it’s currently being implemented in 13 schools.

At every school, an IAQ team will be developed in order to carry out the plan in an effort to be proactive in the identification, response, communication and reporting of potential IAQ issues.
